Statistical observation of the orthopedic patients during recent 5 years

Abstract
|
|
|
During the past period from Jan. 1964 to Dec. 1968, all orthopedic´ patients of Woo Sock University Hospital has been observed with their clinical records for the study of current tendency of orthopedic disease and trauma.
The summary are made as following;
1. The female patients show more admission and O. P. D. Visiting than male and those are gradually increasing yearly.
2. The largest number of O. P. D. was in April, May and June, and the smallest was Nov. and
Dec., of year but in admission, cases was the largest in Dec. the smallest in April.
3. Regardly to be which are under a group of 30 year old were 60% among total patients.
4. Total number of fractures and dislocations were rated the highest respectively and the next trauma,
infectious arthritis, chronic arthritis.
5. Vice Versa the male patients had more trauma, dislocation than female.
